To display the movement of tissue by using Doppler method – is now widely used to observe the myocardium's velocity and its direction in real-time. Spectral Tissue Doppler imaging is also a standard tool for observing the myocardium’s velocity quantitatively.
Hitachi’s TDI display and analysis functions provide various ways to easily evaluate the cardiac functions by offering various display methods and analyses. Original imaging data (RAW data) or DICOM data acquired in the TDI Mode can be used.
Hitachi’s unique high frame rate TDI and auto tracking technologies provide superior temporal resolution for a more precise evaluation of Asynchrony which is one of the major application of TDI analysis software.

- ROI-Auto Trace:
Setting the ROI on the myocardial wall automatically follows the movement by Hitachi’s unique algorithm. Once set the ROI follows the location of the same cardiac muscle. Accurate wall velocity can be calculated.
- High Frame Rate:
Data sampling can be done by high temporal resolution- detailed analysis with a sharper precision is the result.
- Colour and Gray Scale Images can be displayed simultaneously. The ROI can be plotted by observing the greyscale image.
- ROI Angle Correction:
Doppler analysis is angle dependent. To obtain highly accurate calculation results, it is necessary to place the ultrasound beam and wall movement direction in parallel positions. The ROI Angle Correction feature can be used when it is difficult to place the wall motion direction in the optimum position.
- Various display and analysis methods are available depending on B or M Mode such as Temporal VP(B), Regional VP(B), Velocity Trace (M), Wall Thickness, Velocity Profile (M).
